At POS, our mission is to foster genuine social interactions and help you stay connected with your friends in a real and meaningful way. To make this happen, we've crafted these Terms of Service (“Terms”), our Privacy Policy, and our Community Standards, collectively referred to as the “User Agreement.” This agreement is important as it outlines what you can expect from us and what we expect from you, ensuring POS remains a safe, respectful, and authentic environment for everyone.

1. who can use pos

  • To use POS, you must be:

    • At least 13 years old. no one under the age of 13 may use or access pos.

    • You may not use pos if you do not have the legal capacity to enter into this User Agreement.

  • The term “you” in this User Agreement refers to you, the end user, and, if applicable, any entity you represent.

  • By creating an account with posapp.io Inc, you confirm your details are correct. Inaccurate information may lead to service denial. Our software must be downloaded to your device for use, and you consent to automatic updates subject to these Terms.

2. data protection and privacy

  • Our Privacy Policy details how your data is managed when using POS. This includes information shared from syncing your contact list and any personal data provided.

3. your content and conduct

  • Be positive, Be Respectful: We value authenticity and respect. Your contributions should reflect this ethos.

  • Content Ownership: You own your content, like profile photos and messages. By sharing, you grant POS a license to use this content in line with our operations.

  • Responsibility: You're responsible for your content. Make sure it's yours to share and that it adheres to laws and our Community Standards.

4. reporting and content management

  • We're committed to keeping POS a safe space. If you encounter content that violates our standards or someone’s rights, please report it to contact@posapp.io. We act on such reports promptly and decisively.

5. subscription services

  • Access to Premium Features: Our subscription service offers additional features. By subscribing, you agree to our payment terms.

6. ending your use of pos

  • If your actions go against our User Agreement, we may suspend or terminate your access to POS.

7. license to use pos

  • While using POS, you're granted a non-exclusive, revocable license to use our services in accordance with these Terms.

8. limitation of liability

  • Your use of POS is at your own risk. We limit our liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. changes to the user agreement

  • We may update these terms. If changes significantly affect your rights or obligations, we'll notify you in advance.

11. governing law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where posapp.io is located.

12. sms service access

  • To use posapp.io Inc’s services, you need a mobile subscription with a compatible carrier and the necessary equipment. You’re responsible for all costs and text message rates from your carrier.

  • By providing your phone number, you opt-in to receive SMS invites to register. You’re responsible for any message fees and must keep your account information accurate.

13. sms messages

  • pos will send you SMS or short message service messages, also commonly known as text messages, for two-factor authentication. Please note that message and data rates may apply.

14. subscriptions & payments

  • The Services and certain Apps provided by posapp.io Inc (“the Company”) may allow you to purchase access to premium features or services on a subscription basis (“Paid Subscriptions”). Paid Subscriptions are available at the following rates:

  • Weekly Subscription: $5.99 per week

  • Monthly Subscription: $9.99 per month

15. payment processing

  • All payments for Paid Subscriptions will be processed through the App Store. Please ensure your App Store payment information is up to date to avoid any disruptions to your subscription services.

  • You will be notified if the price of a Paid Subscription increases. If required, we will seek your consent to continue the subscription at the new price. You will be charged no more than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the start of the latest Paid Subscription period.

  • If we cannot charge your payment method for any reason (such as expiration or insufficient funds), and you have not cancelled the Paid Subscription, you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts. We will attempt to charge the updated payment method provided by you. This may result in a change to the start of your next Paid Subscription period and may alter the date on which you are billed for each period.

  • We reserve the right to cancel your Paid Subscription if we are unable to successfully charge your payment method to renew your subscription.

  • When your Paid Subscription to any Service or Content ends, you will lose access to any functionality or Content of that Service that requires a Paid Subscription.

16. subscription renewal & cancellation

  • posapp.io Inc. offers weekly & Monthly subscription for enhanced features. Subscriptions auto-renew and charge fees plus taxes until canceled. Check your device settings or the Apple App Store for renewal dates and fees. Cancel at least 24 hours before your billing period ends to prevent the next period’s charge. Post-cancellation, you retain access until the billing period’s end. Cancel via the Apple App Store. If you stop your paid subscription, resubscribing requires accepting current terms and fees.

17. refunds

  • Refunds are managed by Apple, not us. No refunds for partial subscription periods.

18. general

  • You can’t transfer these terms; we can. If a term isn’t enforceable, it doesn’t affect the rest. No waiver of terms is implied by not enforcing them.

  • If any term is illegal or unenforceable, it’s considered separate and doesn’t affect the rest of the terms. These terms include our Privacy Policy and any other agreements with posapp.io Inc.

19. service updates

  • You agree to automatic updates and acknowledge that service interruptions may happen. posapp.io Inc isn’t liable for any service changes or discontinuations.

20. agreement parties

  • These terms form an agreement between you and posapp.io Inc, the owner of the service.
